Canadian Mental Health Association Durham (CMHA Durham)

CMHA Durham has a well-established history serving the Durham community since 1959, over 50 years, and is part of a national association founded in 1918. As an Accredited organization (since 2003) CMHA Durham is a welcoming community mental health centre doing all we can to help people move forward. Client focused, multi-disciplinary services include Community Access, Rehabilitation, Housing & Case Management, ACT Team, Nurse Practitioner-Led Clinic with on-site pharmacy, Healthy Living Program and Health Promotion. Through strong integration within CMHA, and with community partnerships, client care supports are enhanced as community resources are utilized more effectively. Some partnerships are initiatives that promote mental health and educate the general public about mental health.

Durham Mental Health Services

Serving Durham Region for over 20 years, Durham Mental Health Services (DMHS) offers a range of programs to help individuals and families manage the impact of mental illness and work towards recovery. Services include immediate crisis support, longer-term supportive housing, case management, and mental health court support, and specialized services for families. DMHS works in partnership with local healthcare and human service providers to deliver accessible, coordinated, and person-centred care.

Lakeridge Health and Pinewood Centre for Mental Health Services

The Lakeridge Mental Health and Pinewood Centre Program, in collaboration with our community partners provides a range of evidence-based services to individuals and families who are experiencing mental health, substance use and gambling concerns. These services include crisis and early intervention, assessment, treatment, maintenance and follow-up. We respect the inherent dignity of all people we serve and are accountable to our clients and community partners. Our program provides a safe, supportive and non-judgmental environment for clients to take an active role in the treatment process. We’re committed to professional practice, program development, and advocacy with our community partners, all to enhance our ability to meet the diverse needs of our clients.
